10 mins drive in the opposite direction to Hisaronu takes you to the wonderful market town of Fethiye. With its old town and harbour, it has plenty of shops/bars and international restaurants that are well worth a visit.

 

Right in the centre of town is the fish/veg market which has incredible bargains for that special barbeque. Alternatively buy your fish and one of the restaurants surrounding the market will create a delicious meal for you for a small fee. There’s a market every Tuesday in Fethiye. Alternatively, you can take a 12 island boat trip from the harbour area, or the water taxi across to Calis Beach for a change of scenery
